How can I become an a Comeidan/Actress?

Im 13 turning 14 in June and really want to be an actress that plays in comedy type movies, everyone tells me I should me a comedian or an actress all the time so I decided to give it a try. Jim Carrey mainly inspired me to do this I love him, but I just dont know how to start...I ABSOLUTELY HATE musicals! and the only plays my school has, is musicals...and i cant dance! So musicals is definitely out of the question...but how do I start to maybe lift my chances of becoming a comedic actress?
